Canoeing

The river Teifi is an important natural resource.   The water offers year round canoeing, with a slalon course of grade 2 & 3 rapids over a 1km length in the town of Llandysul just 20 minutes drive away.     There is also a training lake in Llandysul operated by Llandysul Paddlers.

Fishing

Cothi.

With over five miles of double bank fishing with some 60 named pools there is a great range of fishing options of the Cothi on our doorstep.  –  I have arranged a deal with the local estate which includes discounts for group bookings for day permits.

 

Carmarthen & District Angling Association

The Carmarthen & District Angling Association has 4 miles of fishing on the lower Towy near Carmarthen, including exclusive tidal access rights. With also 1 mile at White Mill and prime water on the Cothi downstream from The Cothi Bridge Hotel. They have further water on the tributaries, Gwili, 3/4 of a mile at Bronwydd, several miles on the Gwendraeth Fach near Llandyfaelog and Kidwelly; they also share water on the Taf with St Clears Angling Association.   Season & day permits available.
