I have seen both sides of the coin when it comes to organising weekends away for a large group of friends.  Both the organisation of ‘away trips’ with my friends and assisting group leaders booking Gilfach Wen Barn.

I am a tourism ambassador for Carmarthenshire,  the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains.    I am also the chair of the tourism cluster group for Brechfa Forest and Llanllwni Mountain.

Normally on this website I have a number of pages of recommendations of places to visit and suggestions of activity providers.    Unfortunately,   at present all of these businesses are required to be closed,  and it is likely that not all of them will survive the financial strain of the damage to the tourism and hospitality industries caused by Covid lockdowns.

I will revise and publish information in this section of the website as we start to come out of lockdown.
