Bedrooms

Bedrooms at Gilfach Wen Barn

Gilfach Wen Barn sleeps up to 32 people in seven family-sized bedrooms, with a mixture of double and single beds.

The bedrooms are deliberately arranged to give group organisers flexibility. Whether you are planning a family gathering, a weekend with friends, a walking or cycling trip or another group stay, you can decide who shares with whom before you arrive.

Seven bedrooms for groups of up to 32

Across the seven bedrooms there are:

  • 10 double beds
  • 12 single beds
  • Space for up to 32 guests

Before allocating bedrooms, remember that everyone other than children sleeping in the travel cots counts towards the number of guests staying at the Barn.

Plan your bedrooms before you arrive

Room allocation can be one of the more complicated parts of organising accommodation for a large group.

It is worth deciding in advance who will sleep where, particularly if your group includes couples, families with children, people who would prefer a single bed or anyone with mobility requirements.

The photographs and bedroom information below are provided so that you can work out your room allocation before your stay.

Travelling with babies and young children

Two travel cots and two high chairs are available free of charge.

Children sleeping in the travel cots are not included in the guest numbers. All other children are counted as guests within the count of the number of guests for fire regulations and payment due.

Please let us know in advance if you would like the travel cots or high chairs available for your stay.

Choosing the right rooms for your group

For most groups, it helps to allocate the bedrooms at the same time as you confirm who is coming.

Our group planning resources are designed to make this easier. You can record who is attending, allocate bedrooms and keep track of the other information you need from your guests in one place.
