Skanda Vale

Why Gilfach Wen Barn Is Ideal for Visitors to Skanda Vale

  • We offer self-catering accommodation, which is helpful if you need an early start for the first puja or service at the Temple.

  • Staying in a hotel or B&B can be difficult for early mornings, but at Gilfach Wen Barn you can cook your own meals at any time.

  • We welcome groups, families and individuals visiting Skanda Vale.

Enjoy Your Visit to Carmarthenshire

Many visitors travel from London, the Midlands and other parts of the UK. It is a long journey, so it is a nice idea to stay for a few extra days.

If you stay at Gilfach Wen Barn, you are free to:

  • Visit local beaches

  • Explore tourist attractions

  • Enjoy the beautiful countryside of South West Wales

The Ashram asks guests staying on-site not to visit tourist places during the day. These rules do not apply if you stay at Gilfach Wen Barn.

If you are not used to visiting rural areas in the UK, I am happy to give friendly advice to help you enjoy your stay.
