Do not blindly follow your Sat Nav systems between the temple and Gilfach Wen. The route any Sat Nav takes you will be the most direct route on roads only suitable for 4×4’s.
However, it is a very pleasant drive through the countryside to Skanda Vale from Gilfach Wen on a route suitable for cars or minibuses if you follow these directions.

From Gilfach Wen to the temple
At the end of the drive turn left.
At first crossroads (Horeb) turn right.
Go to the end of the road, at T junction turn right.
Go to the end of the road, at T junction turn right
Go to the end of the road, at T junction turn right.

You are now on the A485 After Pontarsais look for a turning on your left to Llanpumsaint. (Its just after a road on the right signposted to Llanllawddog and Brechfa. )

Take the turning to Llanpumsaint. Follow this road to a fork in the road and there is a large sign for the temple at the fork.

From Skanda Vale to Gilfach Wen
Follow the drive out to join the T junction with the road to Llanpumsaint from the A485. Carry straight on to the A485, turn right.
Follow the A485 towards Carmarthen until you pass a petrol station on your right hand side.
Shortly after there is a turning to the left signposted to Horeb. Take this road.
Go to the end of the road and turn left
After a short distance take the turning to the right signposted Horeb.
Go to the end of the road, at Cross roads turn left. You are now on the B4310.
The entrance to Gilfach Wen is on the right after a pair of sharp bends. The driveway entrance is wide, with post and rail fencing, and Gilfach Wen is written on a wooden sign screwed to the fencing.

Please do not go up any drive with a different property name on it other than Gilfach Wen. It is the wrong property.
